Circus Christmas Day Camp 2019

Let your child experience the circus arts! Daily circus activities designed to build confidence, friendships and trust. Your child will explore a variety of artistic skills from challenging acts to show makeup and costuming. Enjoy watching their excitement as they perform for you in the "Christmas Stars" showcase on Friday at 3:30PM (last day of their camp week).

We need a minimum of 14 sign ups per week to run the camps. 
Maximum sign-ups would cap at 25 with a ratio of 7 children per trainer/staff member.

Your child will receive professional level instruction.  Our number one goal is for your child to have lots of  fun and to create wonderful memories in a safe and positive environment.  Parents will be treated to a show on Friday performed by their children. Family and friends welcome to the performance ( no extra cost ) Bring your video cameras! ) Please bring your own chair to the performance.

  4. Basic Tumbling

  5. Acro Pyramids

  6. Hand Balancing Skills

  7. Rola- Bolla (balancing board on the cylinder)

  8. Hula hoop braiding

  9. Rhythmic Ribbon

  10. Risley (human foot juggling)

  11. Mini-Trampoline

  12. Stretching and flexibility


(All aerial will be low to the ground except web/rope which has a safety loop)


Your child will be performing for you and your family and friends on Friday at 3:30 (No extra charge.)

Your camper will participate in fun and creative circus related mini-workshop that will include:

  1. Circus Make Up (different approaches for different ages)

  2. Circus related crafts

  3. Basic dance and choreography skills for stage presence

  4. Circus story time

  5. Guest performers

  6. Circus movie “ Big Top Pee Wee" (featuring Karen Castle as the stunt/circus double for the main actress)

  7. Costume decorating.

    What to bring!

1. Appropriate workout attire for circus, sweat pants and sweatshirt and socks for warm up
2. Lunch box/bag + snack
3. Water bottle
4. “Pre-Costume” For Friday Show Girls:  leotard, unitard, or one piece swimsuit in Christmas colors and/or Christmas themed. Red, green, ice blue and royal blue or any colors if Christmas themed. *Optional - Black or colorful matching lycra shorts or long tights.
Boys: Black tights like bike shorts . Any Christmas colored or themed t-shirt is fine. Multicolor designs on shirts work well if Christmas themed.
*Note - These unitards, tights and t-shirts will be decorated for the show on Friday!  So please be aware that glue and rhinestones will not come off these garments.  Please bring their “Pre-Costume” on 1st day of camp. We will be decorating them everyday of camp.
